Bon Voyage

In a little over half an hour I will be heading from my hotel in Vancouver, down to Canada Place. For those that do not know Canada Place is the cruise terminal in Vancouver. I am heading down to board my second cruise, again with Holland America Line.

This cruise however will be aboard the MS Volendam, which is a slightly larger ship then the MS Statendam, which I sailed through the Panama Canel aboard. I have seen a couple of reviews in the past week or two from cruisers who have been aboard in the last month or two and they are all favorable. So really looking forward to getting onboard and exploring a new ship.

The most exciting part is the destination, which is Sydney, not because it is sydney, but because of the Transpacific crossing that is require to get from Vancouver to Sydney. With some really good ports, including stops in Hawaii, Samoa, Fuji, Noumea, and finally Australia.

Anyway I did not have a lot to share yesterday, however there is one or two pictures i want to share from yesterday as well as a picture of the ship, I am about to go and board. My intention is to provide a few more updates along the way then I did last time, however we will just have to see how things go.

Anyway sorry to make this such a short post for two days, however just am so limited on time, I must now head to Canada Place and prepare to board. All the best to everyone and look forward to sharing this journey over the next 26 days.
